The summit this year focuses on four categories which stand out as particularly urgent as they pose the most immediate threats to our survival, and are a matter of life and death for millions of people:
Climate Disasters
We are undermining the support systems on which all life depends, and consequently experiencing more frequent and intense extreme weather including deadly floods, hurricanes, droughts and wildfires
Democracy Under Siege
Our government which should be responding to all these crises is itself under assault, with big money too often influencing policy, and authoritarianism and white supremacy on the rise
Economic Insecurity
A few enjoy huge bounty while the majority of Americans suffer financial insecurity, with 37% unable to afford an unexpected $400 expense
Widespread Illness
Poor health was the norm even before the pandemic as most Americans have a serious sickness such as diabetes, heart disease or cancer, diminishing their lives and straining our healthcare system

- Compelling video recordings capturing highlights of key solutions are circulated widely
- Recordings and reports are shared widely to encourage global and national implementation
